Welcome to “EBM-Guideliner” a guideline development tool to aid the clinical research community to bring together, organise and evaluate literature for the purpose of writing evidence based guidelines. The process for developing guidelines has been well laid out by others notably the Methodology Manual for ACC/AHA Guideline Writing Committees . This tool is aimed at helping or facilitating this process for groups who do not necessarily have access to the support structure mandated by the ACC/AHA methodology.
EBM-Guideliner has been developed by the Cardiac Surgery Research and Perfusion Group at Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders University, in response to the perceived needs of the International Consortium for Evidence Based Perfusion to develop guidelines for perfusion.
